Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for BCRI's staff, programs, expansion and execution in pursuit of its mission. This seasoned leader will not only understand BCRI’s behavioral health crisis response system of care core programs, operations, and business plans, but also the current trends impacting the viability of long-term delivery of these services to the communities served.

Behavioral Health Clinician for the Crisis Response Team (CRT)
Full time weekdays 11am to 7pm
The primary goal of this position is to work with CRT police officers, responding directly to individuals in Baltimore City’s Central District experiencing a behavioral health crisis, including 911 and other police dispatch calls. The Behavioral Health Clinician will provide crisis intervention services including crisis assessment and referral, psychiatric evaluation, mediation, behavioral health education and support, brief solution-focused treatment, de-escalation and critical incident de-briefing. Master’s degree in psychology, social work or a related field from an accredited college or university required, as well as Maryland State licensure and certification of LGSW, LGPC, LCSW-C or LCPC. Minimum of two years’ post-graduate experience working with individuals in the public behavioral health system is preferred.

Crisis Therapist / Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Full time weekdays
The primary goal of this position is to provide mental health care including evaluation, crisis intervention, referral, and/or treatment to Hotline referrals and clients of BCRI. Master’s degree in psychology, social work or a related field, from an accredited college or university. Candidates must have applicable Maryland State licenses and certification (LGSW, LGPC, LCSW-C or LCPC). Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience working with individuals in the public behavioral health system is preferable.

LPN-Substance Use Program -- Part Time
The primary goal of this position is to provide behavioral health crisis intervention, treatment and somatic care to clients, serving as a responsible member of the nursing team in the delivery of client care. LPN license with the Maryland Board of Nursing required; minimum of one year of mental health/addiction experience and a Bachelor’s degree in mental health preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance.
