911 Diversion Clinician
The 911 diversion clinician will need to be licensed LCPC or LCSW-C
Shifts: Full-time (M-F 11am-7pm) and Part-time (Sat & Sun 11am-7pm, rotating weekends)
Salary: $36 an hour
Job Scope:
The clinician will be an BCRI employee but work in the 911 call center who will:
- Triage behavioral health calls that come into 911
- Determine Lethality
- De-escalate crisis
- De-escalate suicide
- Link to resources
- Determine if the call needs immediate attention (Police or can be transferred to BCRI)
The embedded clinicians will ensure the following interventions are implemented:
- Reducing harm for individuals, families, and communities
- Engage callers from a trauma-responsive and trauma-informed modality
- Be culturally aware and competent
- Promote voluntary engagement of consumers
- Prevent unnecessary Emergency Department utilization and hospital admissions
- Promote easy access with low barriers to care
- Be person-centered
- Be family-centered
- Focus on recovery-oriented care
